MeeLink ("we", "us", "our") provides a bio-link page builder and URL-shortening
service at https://meelink.cc. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we
use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, username, email address, and password
(stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text) when you register.
- Content you create — your bio page details (title, bio, avatar,
links, social handles), short links, and any uploaded images.
- Usage data — clicks, page views, referrer, approximate location,
device/browser type, and IP address, collected to power the analytics we show you.
- Payment information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is
processed directly by our payment partners (PayPal, Stripe, and/or Razorpay). We do not
store your full card number or bank details on our servers; we receive only a transaction
reference and status from these providers.
How we use this information
- To create and operate your account and bio pages.
- To show you analytics about clicks and visits to your own links.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send you account, security, and billing-related emails.
- To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms & Conditions.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay) to complete transactions.
- Infrastructure/email providers who help us run the service (hosting, transactional
email delivery), under contracts that restrict their use of your data to providing that
service to us.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only when required by applicable law.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your bio page content, short links, and account at any time
from your dashboard. You may request a copy of your data or full account deletion by
emailing hello@meelink.cc.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not
use third-party advertising cookies.
Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you
delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except
where we are required to retain transaction records for accounting or legal purposes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be
reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
